Yes. A safe deposit box is one of the most secure storage options for fine jewellery, particularly pieces that aren't worn regularly. Here's everything you need to know before you do it.

Any jewellery can be stored. Common items include:

At Legacy Lockers, boxes are available in three sizes:

How does access work?

Legacy Lockers uses a dual key system. A staff member accompanies you to the vault and opens the box using both the facility key and your personal key. Once the box is open, staff step away entirely. Your visit is private from that point. Nobody sees what's inside, nobody is present while you access your pieces.

We're open 7 days a week, 10am to 6pm, closing only on select public holidays.

Should you clean jewellery before storing it?

Yes. Wipe pieces down with a soft cloth before storing. For significant pieces, a professional clean before long-term storage is worthwhile.

Should pieces be individually wrapped?

Store pieces separately to prevent scratching. Diamonds and sapphires can scratch softer stones if stored loose together. Soft cloth pouches or a compact jewellery roll work well for most collections.

How often can you access your jewellery?

As often as you like during our opening hours. There's no limit on frequency. Most clients visit a few times a year, typically around Chinese New Year, weddings, or other occasions when pieces are needed.
